Posted by New Delhi: Carlsberg Group, one of the world’s leading brewers, has launched its first-ever IT Global Capability Centre (GCC) in India. With this move, Carlsberg Group is reinforcing its focus on digital transformation and deepening its presence in the Indian market.
The new centre, located in Gurugram, will deliver managed IT services, infrastructure operations and application support across Carlsberg’s global operations. It will serve as the cornerstone of the Group’s digital strategy, providing a scalable foundation for future innovation.
Carlsberg has partnered with GSPANN, a global IT services and consultancy provider, to establish and operate the GCC.
“Carlsberg Group’s long-term growth strategy, Accelerate SAIL requires building speed, agility, innovation, and leadership into everything we do,” said Esther Wu, CIO – Carlsberg Group. “The launch of our first Global Capability Centre in Gurugram marks a critical milestone in that journey.”

The IT GCC will focus on automation-led operations, enterprise standardisation and secure, agile IT processes. Carlsberg will retain strategic ownership of the centre’s roadmap, while GSPANN will manage day-to-day operations, staffing and service delivery under a build-operate model.

While the IT GCC is located Gurugram, Carlsberg will also operate a supporting team from GSPANN’s Hyderabad office to ensure flexible scaling and access to specialised skills.
