New Delhi: Flash.co has launched Flash AI, a first-of-its-kind AI shopping assistant, across more than 100 countries. Designed to support over a billion e-commerce shoppers worldwide, the tool aims to simplify online shopping and boost decision-making. It combines deep product research, real-time pricing and seamless accessibility.
Founded by Ranjith Boyanapalli, a former Flipkart executive, and backed by Blume Ventures, Global Founders Capital, and Peer Capital, Flash AI represents a major step forward in the age of AI-powered e-commerce.
Shoppers can access Flash AI simply by adding flash.co/ before the URL of any product from any online merchant. The assistant instantly loads a supercharged product page that delivers unbiased AI-generated summaries compiled from sources like YouTube, Reddit, expert blogs, and marketplace reviews. It also provides real-time price comparisons across stores to ensure the shopper finds the best available deal.
“With Flash AI, we aim to craft a commerce intelligence layer that helps shoppers make better, faster decisions. Instead of changing shopper behaviour via conversational discovery agents, we designed Flash AI to layer seamlessly onto the shopping journey, wherever the shopper is already browsing,” said Ranjith Boyanapalli, Founder and CEO of Flash AI.
“Built on commerce intelligence from over 2 billion anonymised data points, Flash AI will lead the global shift into AI-driven commerce (agentic commerce), setting a new standard for the industry – with more products and features rolling out in the days ahead,” added Boyanapalli.
With global e-commerce expected to exceed $7 trillion dollars and shoppers navigating over 30 million stores and billions of product listings, choice fatigue is becoming a widespread issue. According to the company, 78% of shoppers feel overwhelmed by too many choices and unreliable reviews.
Flash AI addresses this challenge by turning shopping overload into smart, informed decisions. The AI shopping assistant offers a commerce intelligence layer that consolidates research, compares prices in real time, and helps users track orders, refunds, warranties, and spending — all in one place. Shoppers can also access the assistant through the Flash website, WhatsApp, or the mobile app.
