Posted by Singapore: Keeper Security, a Privileged Access Management (PAM) software provider has introduced biometric login with passkeys, allowing users to access their Keeper Vault without typing passwords.
The update enables biometric login with passkeys on Chrome and Edge browser extensions, as well as Keeper Commander CLI. It supports device-based credentials such as biometrics or PINs across platforms, including Windows Hello and macOS Touch ID. Biometric data never leaves the user’s device, ensuring privacy and maintaining zero-knowledge encryption.
A passkey is a cryptographically unique, device-bound credential based on FIDO2/WebAuthn standards. It replaces traditional passwords with phishing-resistant, passwordless authentication, simplifying access while increasing security.

As a member of the FIDO Alliance, Keeper supports the broader move toward secure, passwordless access. The company’s cross-platform approach enables users to create, store and autofill passkeys across devices, browsers and operating systems via browser extensions, mobile apps, desktop vaults and Commander CLI.
Keeper’s Insight Report shows 80% of organisations already use or plan to adopt passkeys. By offering biometric login with passkeys, Keeper helps simplify enterprise adoption while reducing threats like phishing and credential theft.
The updated Keeper Browser Extension is now available on Keeper’s website, the Chrome Web Store and the Microsoft Edge Add-ons Store.
