Posted by New Delhi: Check Point Software announced the launch of the first-generation Infinity AI Copilot. Infinity AI Copilot is built on the convergence of AI and cloud technologies. The company said it addresses the growing global cybersecurity practitioner shortage by boosting the efficiency and effectiveness of security teams.
Cybersecurity Professionals Shortage
Globally the cybersecurity professionals shortage is around 4 million. The current number of cybersecurity professionals employed globally is estimated to be under 5.5 million, according to industry estimates.

Cyberattacks
Ransomware surged 90% in 2023 and organisations experienced an average of 60,000 cyberattacks throughout the year. At the same time, organisations face a shortage of skilled practitioners globally.
However, Check Point Software’s latest security innovation Infinity AI Copilot, trained on 30 years of cybersecurity intelligence will provide strong support to security teams in organisations.
