Posted by New Delhi: Cybersecurity company Barracuda Networks has unveiled Entra ID Backup Premium, a new cloud-native solution designed to protect Microsoft Entra ID environments against accidental and malicious data loss. The service is now globally available through Barracuda’s network of resellers and managed service providers (MSPs).
Microsoft Entra ID, formerly Azure Active Directory, plays a central role in enterprise identity and access management. However, native retention policies only preserve data for 30 days — a limitation Barracuda aims to solve with long-term, scalable backup and recovery capabilities.
“With Entra ID Backup Premium, we are closing a critical gap in the identity protection lifecycle by adding fast, reliable recovery to our proven detection and response capabilities,” said Neal Bradbury, CPO – Barracuda.
