Posted by Mumbai: Firstsource, a global Business Process Services (BPS) specialist and part of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, has released its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) report for the fiscal year 2024–25, highlighting the company’s commitment to sustainability governance and responsible business practices.
The report underscores Firstsource’s integration of sustainability governance into its core operations through its FirstConscious framework and UnBPO operating philosophy. These initiatives drive the company beyond compliance, establishing a responsible and sustainable business model for the modern world.

26.26% of total power now sourced from renewable sources, marking a 164% increase compared to the previous year.
Commitment to Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) near-term targets and net zero by 2050, with validation expected in FY26.
Electric vehicle (EV) transition underway, with a 50% fleet conversion target set for 2027.
Social:
Achieved 46% gender diversity, surpassing the 45% target.
Surpassed impact hiring goal with 11,061 hires, ahead of 2025 target.
Certified as a Great Place to Work in India, UK, US, and Philippines.
Launched INDEX 2.0 and AI Coach to build a future-ready, inclusive workforce.
Governance:
Deployed ESGfirst (Phase 1), Firstsource’s real-time ESG data platform, aligned with frameworks including GRI, TCFD, CDP, EcoVadis, and BRSR.
Maintained a 95% client satisfaction score.
85% of supplier spend assessed on ESG criteria via sustainability scorecards.
