MapmyIndia has integrated India Post’s DIGIPIN into its flagship Mappls App, enabling users to generate precise, government-backed digital addresses for any location across the country.

The partnership marks India’s first large-scale digital addressing system, combining India Post’s secure DIGIPIN codes with MapmyIndia’s advanced geospatial mapping and NavIC-enabled location tech.
Each DIGIPIN is a 10-character unique identifier tied to a specific 3.8m x 3.8m location grid, offering accuracy down to individual apartments, huts, or buildings—even in remote areas. Through the Mappls App, users can now generate, navigate, and share these digital addresses easily.

The initiative aligns with the Government of India’s Digital India and Atmanirbhar Bharat missions, creating a fully indigenous digital location stack — from satellite (NavIC) to street-level precision (Mappls App).
