Stamford, USA: A growing number of enterprises are turning to AI-powered hybrid cloud management platforms (HCMPs) to streamline operations, enhance resilience, and strengthen security, according to a new global report from Information Services Group (ISG).
The 2025 ISG Provider Lens Private/Hybrid Cloud — Data Centre Solutions report reveals a surge in demand for advanced HCMPs, particularly those integrating AI, machine learning (ML), and edge computing. These technologies are enabling a shift from manual oversight to intelligent automation, helping businesses manage increasingly complex cloud environments.
“AI is becoming a foundational element of hybrid cloud management,” said Anay Nawathe, ISG Cloud Delivery Lead for the Americas. “Enterprises are seeking it out in solutions that provide a path from reactive, manual management to proactive, intelligent automation.”
Financial services have led investments in hybrid cloud solutions, but the healthcare sector is now adopting them at a faster pace. Meanwhile, growth is accelerating in Asia Pacific and Latin America, driven by digital transformation efforts aimed at boosting agility, security, and cost control.
According to the report, disaster recovery and resiliency are becoming key priorities, especially in regions vulnerable to infrastructure disruptions. AI-enabled platforms now offer predictive analytics, real-time system monitoring, automated failover, and continuous risk assessment—all essential for business continuity.
Leading platforms are also incorporating FinOps capabilities, giving enterprises detailed insights into cloud expenditures and enabling proactive cost optimisation.
“As enterprises increase their reliance on complex hybrid cloud architectures, they face a growing number of cloud monitoring and management responsibilities,” said Shashank Rajmane, Senior Manager and Principal Analyst, ISG Provider Lens Research, and lead author of the report. “Solution providers are easing those burdens and ensuring efficient, resilient operations with innovative AI-powered features.”
Beyond resiliency and cost control, the report highlights rising demand for zero-trust security frameworks and improved backup and storage technologies that ensure faster data restoration.
As organisations continue to modernise IT infrastructure, platforms that blend automation, financial intelligence, and security are becoming essential for managing hybrid environments effectively.
