Echoing this, Nishant Rathi, Founder and Director of NeoSOFT, stresses that AI should amplify human intelligence with empathy, driving equitable and purpose-driven solutions. “AI challenges us to think differently, act faster, and design solutions that are not just intelligent but also deeply human-centered,” says Rathi.
“As we celebrate AI, we must focus on utilising its vast potential with empathy and purpose. The true promise of AI lies not in replacing human intelligence, but rather in amplifying it to solve real-world problems and build a better, more equitable future,” adds Rathi.

AI’s quiet revolution across digital landscapes is evident in enterprises focused on personalisation and operational efficiency. Nishant Patel, CTO of Contentstack, calls AI the “engine room of modern digital innovation.” He says, “AI quietly removes friction, automating the mundane, and letting creators and developers focus on what truly moves the needle.”
However, Patel cautions that with this power comes a duty to wield AI ethically, ensuring that every experience is inclusive, responsible, and grounded in human values. “AI Appreciation Day is a call to lead with ambition and integrity,” says Patel.
Similarly, Sriram Kannan, Founder and CEO of Routematic, spotlights AI’s role in building smarter and sustainable systems. “From decoding traffic patterns and EV charging data to optimising employee commutes, we use AI to turn complexity into clarity. The next decade will be defined not by automation, but by the intelligence with which, we apply it to empower people, solve hard problems, and move cities forward,” says Kannan.

AI’s transformative potential also extends to democratising technology. “We see AI not just as technology, but as a catalyst transforming how India speaks, learns, and transacts,” says Ganesh Gopalan, CEO of Gnani.ai. “On AI Appreciation Day 2025, we celebrate the incredible strides made in voice AI, small language models, and generative AI that bridge linguistic diversity and democratise digital access.”

The proliferation of AI introduces critical cybersecurity challenges. Citing CyberArk 2025 Identity Security Landscape report, Sumit Srivastava, CyberArk India’s Solutions Engineering Director, points out that organisations today have 82 machine identities for every human identity, and this number is expected to keep rising with the proliferation of agentic AI. “This trend presents a critical cybersecurity challenge,” warns Srivastava.
Srivastava explains that autonomous AI agents, while powerful, can independently make decisions, escalate their access privileges, and interact with critical IT systems, often without direct human oversight. “Left unsecured, they can be exploited by threat actors to gain lateral access across networks, including sensitive data and infrastructure,” he adds.
In Srivastava’s view, human and machine identities are the backbone of India’s growing digital economy, but also emphasizes on securing these identities. “On AI Appreciation Day 2025, it’s vital to recognise that securing these identities isn’t just a technical necessity, it is foundational to ensuring safe, trustworthy AI innovation in India’s digital future.”
Open Source and Agility: Foundations for Scalable AI
Indian enterprises benefit from embracing open infrastructure that fosters innovation and agility. “Today’s AI breakthroughs will be tomorrow’s legacy. Getting locked in or stuck in one ecosystem is counter-intuitive to innovation,” says APAC CTO of SUSE, Vishal Ghariwala.
When it comes to AI’s future and innovation, Ghariwala advocates for open source principles—transparency, collaboration, and flexibility. “Open source principles – collaborative improvements, knowledge pooling, transparency – will be key to AI’s future health.”
On the significance of open source for businesses, Ghariwala explains that it lowers the barriers to access and working together to innovate and businesses can innovate securely, transparently, and on their own terms. “That’s the kind of environment we should all be aiming to build, including in AI,” says Ghariwala.
From AI Appreciation Day 2025 perspective, Ghariwala recommends that its not just celebrating what AI can do, but how AI is build with a shared responsibility to guide its development for the benefit of everyone.

Certainly, AI has evolved rapidly with human-like abilities to able to learn and respond but far more quicker than humans. “Fueling this evolution is search, which enables AI applications not only to learn but also to extract value from data,” says Karthik Rajaram, Area VP and GM, Elastic India.
Integrating AI with search technologies enables enterprises to extract actionable insights from vast data, powering everything from personalized job matching to unified security operations. “AI and search also play a massive role in providing real-time visibility into business-critical systems and ensuring that they run at peak performance,” adds Rajaram.

With more enterprises in India preferring hybrid or on-premises infrastructure for AI workloads, according to Amit Luthra, MD – Lenovo ISG India, the future is hybrid AI — a secure, flexible, and distributed model that empowers AI to operate wherever it delivers the greatest impact: in the cloud, on-premises, or at the edge.
However, India’s AI journey is still emerging, with 49% of organisations currently evaluating or planning adoption. In Luthra’s view its a meaningful shift from hype to tangible impact, as enterprises focus on building a strong foundation for sustainable growth. “On this AI Appreciation Day, it is time for organisations to move beyond experiments and embrace AI as a core driver of growth, inclusion, and real-world value,” says Luthra.
Orchestration, Governance, and Business Impact
“AI is fast becoming the backbone of intelligent enterprise across industry verticals,” states Jay Modh, Founder and CEO of Intuitive.Cloud. However, Modh opines that priority now is not about the AI adoption but its orchestration.
“The priority now isn’t adoption but orchestration, for high-quality data, responsible AI, security, and governance delivering measurable business outcomes. It is about value over volume, about impact over noise, delivering continuous modernisation at the speed of business,” explains Modh.
Interestingly, Modh observes that AI augments human potential and not replaces, by reducing the inefficiencies and chaos in the system. “The real opportunity is to build intelligently, scale responsibly, and lead with clarity.”
Navigating Challenges in a Complex Landscape
The rapid rise of AI-driven fraud and deepfake scams presents a double-edged sword. Recent KPMG data reveals over 75% of Indians online encounter deepfake content, with 38% impacted by related scams, underscoring the imperative for robust, adaptive defenses alongside innovation.
Collaborative AI Workflows for the Future
Looking ahead, João Moura, CEO of CrewAI, envisions the future in multi-agentic driven workflows: intelligent agents that operate with autonomy, align with business goals, and collaborate with people as capable teammates. “These agents aren’t just responding to prompts — they’re reasoning, coordinating, and driving complex workflows end-to-end,” says Moura.
Like Intuitive.Cloud’s CEO Modh, Moura also emphasizes on orchestration. “As AI adoption accelerates, enterprises need more than models — they need orchestration, oversight, and alignment with real-world business outcomes.
