Bengaluru: Datadog Inc., a monitoring and security platform for cloud applications has promoted Namit D’Cruz to Regional Vice President (VP) for Enterprise in India and SAARC.
As Regional VP, D’Cruz’s responsibilities extend from leading Datadog’s enterprise business in southern India to executing the enterprise strategy across India and SAARC.
In his new role, he will expand existing and establish new customer relationships for Datadog’s observability, security and AI capabilities in South Asia. He will also oversee the growth of Datadog’s India team across sales, in-region support, alliances and channel partnerships, marketing, and SDR operations.
“Datadog helps organisations gain end-to-end observability across the AI stack, from infrastructure and GPUs to models and agents, while addressing cost control, risk detection, and responsible AI adoption,” said Namit D’Cruz, Regional VP for Enterprise in India and SAARC.
“I’m excited to lead our regional enterprise team and work closely with customers as they navigate this next phase of transformation,” added D’Cruz.
“India has become a critical growth market for Datadog, driven by strong enterprise adoption of cloud, security, and AI-led operations,” said Rob Thorne, VP – APJ, Datadog.
“Our continued investment in the region reflects both customer demand and the depth of talent here. Namit’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment for our India and SAARC business—his leadership, enterprise experience, and understanding of the regional market will be key as we scale our teams, deepen customer relationships, and drive the next phase of growth,” added Thorne.
D’Cruz brings over two decades of experience in driving large-scale digital and cloud transformation initiatives. During his tenure at Datadog, he has strengthened the company’s enterprise presence in India, enabling some of India’s largest organisations to modernize infrastructure and gain real-time visibility into complex environments.
Prior to Datadog, D’Cruz served in senior leadership roles at Microsoft, where he helped shape and grow the strategic digital-native business in India, supporting high-growth companies in leveraging cloud platforms to scale and innovate.
