Santa Clara, USA: Cybersecurity company Palo Alto Networks has announced new quantum security solutions. These new capabilities are aimed at helping enterprises prepare for the risks of quantum computing and secure workloads across multicloud and AI environments.
The company introduced a Quantum Readiness Dashboard and an industry-first cipher translation feature, enabling organisations to assess cryptographic risk and instantly upgrade applications to be quantum safe, even if they do not support post-quantum encryption by default.
Also launched 14th new 5th-generation Next-Generation Firewall models, designed to deliver high performance while supporting post-quantum cryptography and strengthening long-term quantum security strategies.
“The quantum threat to encryption, is no longer theoretical; it’s an inevitability that demands action now,” said Anand Oswal, SVP and GM of Network Security – Palo Alto Networks.
He added that the new features “cover the entire quantum readiness lifecycle” and help organisations “proactively secure their most critical assets from tomorrow’s threats, today.”
The company also unveiled a Cloud and AI Risk Assessment platform that continuously monitors cloud and AI assets, identifying where protection is weak or missing. Security controls, including software firewalls and Prisma AIRS instances, are automatically deployed to secure traffic across a multicloud networking mesh.
“The increased urgency to achieve quantum readiness, coupled with the proliferation of multicloud environments and rapid advancements in AI, has created a complex and fragmented security landscape for the modern enterprise,” said Pete Finalle, Research Manager – IDC.
He added that Palo Alto Networks’ commitment to “crypto agility” and scalable, automated software firewalls addresses key challenges in visibility and policy enforcement.
With automatic scaling, native load balancing and built-in micro segmentation, the platform reduces the need for additional tools and simplifies network operations. According to the company, this marks a significant step toward delivering intelligent, enterprise-wide quantum security for dynamic multicloud and AI-driven environments.
