Hyderabad: US-based data observability platform Unravel Data to raise Hyderabad staff count to 50 by mid-2024. Unravel Data will double its Hyderabad staff count from its current strength of 25 by mid-year as per its hiring plans.

The company announced its hiring plans on the sidelines of Unravel Data’s flagship DataOps Observability conference‘s second Indian edition in Hyderabad. Unravel has over 100 employees in India, of which 25 are based in Hyderabad.

The announcement comes as Unravel Data continues to expand and grow its local operations to better serve its customers. It’s commitment to serving the local tech community in Hyderabad and nearby cities, through continuous learning and development opportunities, the company said.

According to Unravel Co-Founder and CTO Shivnath Babu, Hyderabad is a strategic location for the company as many of its customers globally are relying on Hyderabad-based data teams to accelerate their business-critical big data analytics projects.

“This is why, we are not only committed to growing our team and operations in Hyderabad but also to serving the local tech community through world-class learning and networking opportunities. Bringing our flagship DataOps Observability conference to Hyderabad within months of opening our office here underscores this commitment,” said Babu.

Unravel claimed that it has created the world’s first AI-enabled DataOps Observability Platform to meet the needs of modern data teams. The platform helps businesses understand and optimise the performance and cost of their modern data applications – and the complex data pipelines that power those applications.

The company counts several of Fortune 500 companies as its clients, including Credit Suisse, Intel, Adobe, DBS Bank, Citi, Novartis, Maersk, and Mastercard, among others.

“As pioneers of AI-powered DataOps observability, we are truly excited to share our latest insights and innovations with our tech community in Hyderabad, which is already at the front and centre of implementing several of these innovations for businesses around the world,” said Giriraj Bagdi, Unravel’s VP of Engineering Operations.
