Posted by Houston, USA – Mumbai, India: Global IT services major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has announced a five‑year renewal and expansion of its contract with the oilfield services company Weatherford International to enable the company’s AI-powered business transformation.
Under the extended agreement, TCS will deploy advanced AI‑driven solutions and automation across Weatherford’s operations in finance, supply chain, and human resources to reduce costs, enhance agility, and scale processes more effectively.
The extended partnership builds on seven years of collaboration during which TCS delivered transformative improvements across Weatherford’s shared services, achieving approximately 50% reduction in total cost of ownership for mission‑critical operations.
