Posted by Mumbai: Deel, a global payroll and HR company, has announced the beta launch of AI Workforce, a new product to help businesses launch, manage and create AI agents that streamline HR and payroll tasks.
The AI Workforce product enables companies to easily integrate AI agents into their workflows. It leverages Deel’s existing HR and payroll data to automate and simplify complex administrative processes. This new product aims to relieve overstretched HR teams from repetitive tasks, improving efficiency and decision-making in real time.
According to SHRM’s latest Workforce report, more than half of HR professionals say their teams are understaffed, making tools like AI Workforce crucial to meet growing demands.
The beta product includes seven specialised AI agents tailored for key HR functions such as recruitment, compliance, scheduling, IT equipment management, offboarding and payroll accuracy.

The PTO Fairy speeds up time-off approvals while preventing coverage gaps.
The Payroll Detective flags payroll errors before processing, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Currently available in beta, AI Workforce allows Deel customers to deploy these ready-made AI agents immediately.
The product is built on knowledge from over 2,000 in-country experts, supporting compliance in more than 150 countries. Customers can also create custom AI agents tailored to their specific business needs.
Looking ahead, Deel plans to enable integrations with popular tools like Slack and Zapier, making AI agents an even more seamless part of daily operations.
Eventually, employees will be able to manage their AI agents as part of their workforce, hiring or retiring them based on evolving requirements.
