Posted by Mumbai: Aurionpro Solutions has won a major urban mobility contract from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) to implement Smart Transit solutions for Mumbai Metro Lines 4 and 4A. Valued at nearly ₹250 crore, the project covers the design, supply, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system, including Central Clearing House Software (CCHS) and ticketing hardware, followed by five years of maintenance.
This is one of the largest deals in Aurionpro’s Urban Mobility portfolio and significantly strengthens the company’s presence in the sector. With recent wins in Delhi and Chennai, Mumbai becomes the third major metro city to choose Aurionpro for its AFC systems.
Developed under MMRDA, the Mumbai Metro Network is an ambitious transit systems in India. Its planned to enhance connectivity across Mumbai and surrounding region. The addition of Lines 4 and 4A is expected to ease congestion and promote sustainable transportation in India’s financial capital.

Its Smart Transit solutions are deployed globally and span account-based ticketing, open-loop EMV systems, hybrid AFC for railway networks, and mobility apps for various transit modes.
