Posted by Mumbai, India: Accenture has agreed to acquire Faculty, a UK-based AI native services and products company for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition aims to expand Accenture’s capabilities in delivering safe and scalable AI solutions. The Faculty acquisition will help Accenture’s clients reinvent core business processes using advanced AI technology.
Founded in 2014, Faculty has a strong track record of deploying AI solutions for public and private sector clients in the U.K. and other markets. Its services include AI strategy, AI safety, and the design, build, and implementation of high-performance AI systems, supporting the safe and ethical adoption of AI.
Faculty partners with leading AI labs, including OpenAI and Anthropic, and works with the UK AI Security Institute to ensure baseline safety standards.
Following the acquisition, Faculty’s team of more than 400 AI professionals will join Accenture, and CEO Marc Warner will become Accenture’s chief technology officer (CTO) and a member of its Global Management Committee.

Faculty FrontierTM, the company’s enterprise decision intelligence product, will integrate with Accenture’s suite of tools to help organisations make faster, data-driven decisions. Accenture and Faculty are already collaborating with companies such as Novartis to improve clinical trial planning and execution.

The acquisition also allows Accenture to expand Faculty’s Fellowship Program globally, helping STEM PhD and master’s graduates, as well as post-doctoral researchers, transition from academia to industry.
