Upscalio buys four consumer brands, bets on Rs 200 crore plan

New Delhi: E-commerce company Upscalio has acquired a stake in Gizga, Tizum, Aircase and HomePuff brands. These four consumers brands are category leaders and operate in the next-gen computer, PC and phone accessories, laptop bags, and kitchenware segment respectively.

Upscalio mainly invests in and grows online-first brands. In a 4-in-1 deal, it will leverage a mix of geographical and product expansion to help these brands achieve Rs 200 crore annual revenue in two years.

These fours brands have a significant market share in their respective verticals and hold a unique stance as category leaders on Amazon with positive reviews, ratings and recall.

Dinesh Vardhan, Vikram Vardhan and Amit Hingarh established these brands more than 7 years ago with a scrupulous procurement system which has contributed to their steady growth.

With the plan to scale these brands into Rs 200 crore annual revenue business in the next two years, Upscalio will focus on expanding the brands’ geographical footprint and ramping up new product development. It will also plan an eventual B2B foray to unlock new growth avenues for all four brands.
