Posted by Mumbai: Data centre major Yondr Group has entered the Malaysian market with the launch of a 200 MW hyperscale campus.
Yondr Group will develop its 200 MW hyperscale campus on 72.8 acres of acquired land from TPM Technopark Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Johor Corporation.
The land is strategically located in Sedenak Tech Park, a flagship data centre complex that spans over 700 acres of land in Johor, Malaysia.
The Sedenak Tech park, formerly known as Kulai Iskandar Data Exchange (KIDEX), is spread over 7,290 acres in Sedenak Technology Valley.
Yondr’s hyperscale campus will be built in multiple phases and upon completion, will deliver in total capacity of 200 MW. The project’s first phase is scheduled for delivery in 2024.
With access to at least 600MW of capacity, dark fibre connectivity, scalable utilities and infrastructure, Sedenak Tech Park is home to some of the largest data and cloud players within the Southeast Asia region.
