Addverb Technologies opens robots making facility in Noida

New Delhi: Addverb Technologies has inaugurated its largest manufacturing facility ‘Bot-Valley’ in Noida, Utter Pradesh. This facility is spread over 2.5 acres of land, equipped with the latest electronics and mechanical machines.

It has the manufacturing capacity of over 50,000 robots of varied types annually. The company has invested Rs 75 crore in setting up this state-of-the-art facility, which will employ a workforce of 450 people.

Started in 2016, Addverb Technologies has streamlined the process for many retail giants in India through its innovative products and solutions. In just over four and a half years span, Addverb Technologies expanded its footprint globally.

It has customers from Europe, South-East Asia and Australia making it into its clientele. Besides, It also established 100% subsidiaries in Singapore, Australia and the Netherlands.

“We have entered a nascent paradigm shift (industry 4.0) where technology will help Addverb meet the growing needs and demand of the present business ecosystem,” said Amitabh Kant, CEO, NITI Ayog said during the inauguration.

Robotics holds huge potential in streamlining the processes across industries right from retail to healthcare and from warehousing to supply chain,” added Kant.

According to Sangeet Kumar, Founder and CEO, Addverb Technologies, this new facility will unleash the power of India on global fronts and will strengthen the overall robotics ecosystem of the country.

“Even with increased demand for automation, the penetration of robotics, especially in small and medium enterprises is still low in India compared to the global average,” said Kumar.

“With the establishment of this world-class facility, we will be able to project India as an R&D epicentre of the world and share knowledge and encourage Indian manufacturers to embrace our game-changing technologies and become best-in-class manufacturers for local and global markets,” opined Kumar.
