The updates are designed to help enterprises secure AI-driven mobile experiences, enhance threat response across devices, and prepare for the quantum computing era.
On-Device AI with Built-In Privacy
At the centre of the update is Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection (KEEP) — a new secure storage framework that isolates sensitive data for each app, keeping AI-generated insights strictly on-device. Supporting Samsung’s Personal Data Engine, KEEP powers features like Now Brief and Smart Gallery Search while preventing cross-app data access.
For enterprises deploying AI at the edge, KEEP ensures data remains local and protected by hardware-level encryption via Knox Vault — helping mitigate cloud privacy risks.
Smarter Cross-Device Threat Containment
Samsung also expanded Knox Matrix, its ecosystem-wide threat detection framework. If a device is compromised — through firmware tampering or identity spoofing — it will automatically sign out of Samsung Account services to stop the threat from spreading. A unified dashboard alerts users across devices and guides them through remediation.
This proactive, automated response aligns with zero-trust security models, increasingly adopted by enterprise IT teams.
Quantum-Resistant Wi-Fi Security
With quantum computing on the horizon, Samsung is upgrading Secure Wi-Fi with post-quantum cryptography to safeguard network connections. The enhancement, building on the Galaxy S25’s security stack, protects the key exchange process to prevent future decryption attempts.
Additional features like Auto Protect, Enhanced Privacy Routing, and Protection History offer added layers for remote workers on public networks.
