Kaspersky Lab and Huawei join hands for cloud security

Shanghai, China : Global information security player Kaspersky Lab and Huawei jointly announced that they would cooperate fully in the field of cloud security at the recent HUAWEI CONNECT 2018, which is held on 12 th October in Shanghai, China. The cooperation will seamlessly integrate Kaspersky Lab’s security solutions with Huawei’s cloud computing solution, delivering a more comprehensive approach to security and building a more secure ecosystem while providing simplified management and superior performance to data centers and desktop cloud customers.

“The newly launched integrated solution is hosted on Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security and Huawei Fusionsphere Products,” said Matvey Voytov, Global Cloud Security Director – Kaspersky Lab.

“Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security provides a unified security for any stage or scenario in the cloud. The solution is suitable for cloud migration and native cloud scenarios, protecting the physical and virtualized workloads of the enterprise, whether it is running locally, in a data center, or in a public cloud. Kaspersky Hybrid Cloud Security applications are built on the basis of virtualization and server features to provide the perfect balance of protection against current and future advanced threats without compromising system performance,” Voytov added.

Huawei FusionSphere provides customers with simple and optimal virtualization and VDI services, when integrating with Kaspersky Security Solutions, they can provide agentless security protection solution for virtual machine scenarios and lightweight agent security for virtual machine + VDI scenarios, offering customers multi-level, granular and robust security without compromising productivity.
