Posted by Mumbai: Cloudflare has announced new capabilities to its zero-trust platform, Cloudflare One, which helps organisations securely adopt, build and deploy generative AI applications.
Cloudflare is introducing AI Security Posture Management (AI-SPM) into its zero-trust platform, allowing organisations safeguard against a range of potential threats posed by AI tools. This enables businesses to be confident that all teams are using AI safely.
These features help:
- Discover how employees are using AI: Cloudflare’s Shadow AI Report gives teams instant, detailed insights into which AI apps employees are using and how.
- Protect against Shadow AI: Cloudflare Gateway automatically enforces AI policies at the network edge to block unapproved tools, limit data uploads, and ensure AI apps meet security standards.
- Safeguard sensitive data without fully restricting AI usage: AI Prompt Protection flags or blocks risky AI interactions, preventing confidential data from leaving the organisation.
- Gain visibility of AI model interactions with tools outside the business: Zeo Trust MCP Service Control enables teams to manage all MCP traffic from one dashboard.
With these new features, the company is giving customers the ability to automatically understand, analyse and set controls on generative AI usage throughout their organisation. It enhances the productivity and innovation of their teams without sacrificing security or privacy standards.
