David Ridgway, Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) of the Parliament of South Australia and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Investment Australia announced the opening of this new delivery center and signing a six-year contract with a leading agribusiness and iconic brand in Australia.
This new center and office in Adelaide now joins HCL’s network of Global Delivery Centers (GDCs) across the world. As part of the contract, HCL will build an intelligent sourcing model with their digital transformation for the future. HCL will work with Elders to achieve their vision of an agile IT environment that supports future business growth and delivers quality service to clients across Australia and internationally. Initially, HCL will help create 50 jobs in the region. At present, HCL employs 1600+ professionals in the Australia region.

“With South Australia’s strong credentials in defence and health industries as well as our emerging space and autonomous vehicle sectors, there will be many opportunities for high-calibre ICT solution companies, like HCL, in Adelaide.”
HCL’s engagement with local business was crucial to the smooth settlement into South Australia and the partnership provided a perfect leverage for HCL to finally call South Australia home.
