Mumbai: Polygon, a developer platform for Ethereum has announced its month-long initiative in India. Polygon launched the “Web3 – Made in India Tour” on Tuesday.
The company’s month-long initiative aims to educate, inspire and support the Web3 ecosystem in India. The tour will feature eight events across India culminating with the inaugural Polygon Connect event in Bangalore on Dec 1, 2022.
Polygon Connect is a global initiative that unites every part of Polygon’s ecosystem via live events, hackathons, and community gatherings. It will bring together every aspect of India’s blockchain and software developer landscape through a thought-provoking, keynote-powered, and networking-heavy mainstage event.
Polygon Connect speakers include Polygon’s Co-Founder Sandeep Nailwal, Messari’s CEO Ryan Selkis, Sequoia Capital‘s Founder Sailesh Lakhani and Dragonfly’s Managing Partner Haseeb Qureshi, amongst others.
This event will be free, and open to everyone to attend via a livestream and experience the unique ticketing experience, powered by Polygon’s Mint NFT.

As a lead-up to Connect in India, Polygon will host ‘Guild Events’, community-driven events that will take place across seven cities starting from Kochi on November 5 followed by Jaipur, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Delhi.
