New Delhi: The National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) has launched NIXI-Mandi – a neutral platform for providing network and telecom services.
It is designed and built to facilitate NIXI members with a neutral platform for transacting their business. And it aims to extend the services of data centres and telecom service providers to the existing and even the new Internet Service Providers (ISPs).
Members can use NIXI-Mandi as a compelling value proposition to reach out to prospective clients effectively. Data centres and telcos can offer any services be it cross-connects, last-mile connectivity, cloud computing, international internet bandwidth to ISPs.
“NIXI-Mandi is the effort of bringing seller and purchaser of various products and services, which are being offered by data centres, telecom service providers to our ISPs,” said Anil Kumar Jain, CEO NIXI on the inauguration of NIXI-Mandi
“It is an e-commerce platform for the Internet exchange community and the people around us. This has been made possible with the guidance and support of Ajay Prakash Sawhney, Secretary MeitY and Chairman NIXI, Board of Directors, the entire team of Internet Exchange and efforts of Node officers, business development and marketing team,” said Jain.
It is the marketplace that has all the features of an e-platform. This platform is well tested, and sellers have an option to register themselves for various products and services. Along with specifications and indicative delivery time of the services. There is a possibility for the customer to negotiate and re-negotiate which is not available on normal e-platforms.
The platform offers advantages to sellers and buyers. For sellers, a ready-made market is available only to a limited number of people and the buyers, will be able to get the right price and reduced time in getting a service or product
