Developed in collaboration with renowned executive coach Marshall Goldsmith, the platform marks a significant step in the bank’s commitment to future-ready workforce development.
Traditionally reserved for senior leaders, executive coaching has remained limited in scale due to its cost and one-on-one delivery format. With iCoach, DBS becomes one of the first banks in the region to use AI-powered coaching tool to provide on-demand, scalable support across job levels and geographies.
“As the world of work evolves, building career resilience is essential,” said Lee Yan Hong, Head of Group Human Resources at DBS. “With iCoach, we’re using responsible AI to deliver personalized, always-on guidance—making growth accessible to every employee.”
The AI coaching tool is available 24/7 and draws from contextual knowledge of the bank’s roles, functions, and mobility pathways. Employees receive real-time suggestions on leadership, mental wellness, work-life balance, and career development. The tool aligns with the bank’s Triple E framework — Education, Exposure, Experience and complements existing tools like iGrow, the DBS Learning Hub, and its Mentorship and Job Shadowing programmes.

His expertise helps shape the guidance offered by iCoach, ensuring it aligns with global best practices in career development.
