Posted by New Delhi: The Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), facilitated 25 high-potential Indian startups to Silicon Valley, USA under Leap Ahead Global Connect initiative. 13 STPI-nurtured startups were recognised with prestigious TiE50 Awards, showcasing India’s growing leadership in emerging technologies.
For startups, STPI launched launched the Leap Ahead initiative, with three key pillars – mentorship, funding, and global connections. Under one the key pillars Leap Ahead Global Connect, STPI helps startups to strategically immersion to Silicon Valley, USA. It is designed to give global exposure to STPI startups and provide them funding opportunities.
This initiative offers founders transformative experiences through focused sessions such as Fundraising Day and an intensive Startup Bootcamp, providing opportunities to pitch directly to leading U.S. venture capitalists, engage with renowned domain experts, and explore cross-border partnerships in the heart of Silicon Valley.
STPI further enabled Indian startups to engage with one of the largest global gatherings of entrepreneurs and global tech leaders at TiEcon 2025. The 2025 edition held in California, featured marquee speakers such as Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen, Intel Corp CEO Lip-Bu Tan, Vasu Jakkal, Corporate VP Microsoft, alongside industry leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs,
STPI is playing a catalytic role in revolutionising the Indian startup ecosystem by helping entrepreneurs turn their ideas into reality, according to Arvind Kumar, Director General, STPI
“Through its Leap Ahead Global Connect initiative, STPI is working to bridge the gap between Indian innovation and global opportunities,” said Kumar.
Further, “By enabling Indian startups to engage with global industry leaders, participate in insightful panel discussions, and pitch their ideas to investors, STPI is helping them effectively market themselves and access investment opportunities,” added Kumar

13 STPI-nurtured startups were recognised at the event with the prestigious TiE50 Awards for their disruptive contributions across various industries. These ventures are at the forefront of India’s deep-tech evolution, leveraging advanced technologies like AI, IoT, and blockchain to drive meaningful innovation.
