Posted by Mumbai: Veira Group, one of the largest Indian ODMs for smart TV has partnered with Skyworth Group for manufacturing certified Android and Google TVs in India.
Under this tie-up, Skyworth Group will become Veira Group’s technology partner. Skyworth will leverage its strong tech capabilities to assist Veira with its technology solution for Android and Google TVs. And will help to produce the highest standard and cost-effective TVs in India.
Veira Group is one of the few Indian ODM/OEMs to produce Android TVs in India. It manufactures Android TVs for multiple brands in India and has made over 100,000 sets of Android TVs.
Skyworth Group will assist Veira with all the technology upgrades and cost optimisation for Android TVs. This tie-up will offer competitive and advanced technology solutions to India’s bustling TV market.
Veira aims to make android TV more affordable and readily available in India. The company will focus on Android 11 solutions to start with and move further to Google TVs in the future.

Veira Group has recently invested 200 crores in its new manufacturing unit. The group has the capacity to make four million TV units in its new manufacturing unit, in addition to other products, including washing machines, refrigerators and air-conditioners. This step will propel Veira to the forefront of the television manufacturing industry in north India.
