Mumbai: Veeam Software appointed Shiva Pillay as SVP (Senior Vice President) to lead the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. Prior, Shiva worked in the role of VP of Sales and Field operations, APJ.
Pillay will be reporting to Bill Largent, chairman and CEO at Veeam. He will spearhead the company’s growth strategy in the region.
Veeam recently announced its Q4’2020 global results. It posted another quarter of double-digit growth with annual recurring revenue (ARR) of 22% year-over-year (YoY) and 24% per cent YoY increase in APJ.

Formerly in roles at The SCE Group, Prevalent Inc. and SevOne, Pillay brings to the role experience across sales, consulting, and revenue generation. He joined Veeam in mid-2018 as VP, Sales and Field operations – APJ. He was, responsible for leading all Inside Sales, Cloud Service Providers, Channels, Alliances, Pre-Sales and Professional Services functions across the region.
