Singapore: Software AG has announced a number of senior executive appointments in the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region.
This includes the new SVP of Sales for APJ and new Country Managers for Japan and South Korea. Also, Software AG veteran Michael Cross given a new role as VP of APJ Alliance and Channels.
These appointments are part of the company’s plan to establish a leadership team that can better support its customer and partner bases in the region. Leveraging the new appointments collectively, the company aims to boost its ability to respond to the needs of organisations in APJ, particularly with the rapid digitalisation in this region.
Nicolas Betbeder-Matibet is Software AG’s new SVP of Sales for APJ. He is responsible for driving all regional GTM efforts and cultivating a strong culture and purpose for the team in APJ. Nicolas joins the company from Tibco, where he led the Asia business and regional growth strategy for the company.
With over 20 years of experience in the technology space, Lorne Fetzek has been appointed as Country Manager of Japan. Prior to joining Software AG, Lorne was the Area VP – Japan for cybersecurity specialist Imperva.
KyuHwan Lee appointed as Country Manager of South Korea. He joins the company from Oracle Digital Prime, where he was the Sales Director driving customer-oriented strategies, marketing and sales.
Australia based Software AG veteran Michael Cross has been given a new role of VP of APJ Alliance and Channels.
With the company relying on alliances and channels to boost growth in APJ, Michael is expected to play a key role in shaping the company’s IoT GTM strategy for the region.
