Posted by Mumbai: ECU Worldwide, Allcargo Logistics’ wholly-owned global subsidiary and a leader in LCL consolidation has announced the appointment of Rajneesh Garg in the position of CIO (Chief Information Officer).
As CIO, Garg will provide strategic leadership in critical areas of technology, with a particular focus on software applications management and support. He will spearhead and oversee the technology transformation initiatives in ECU Worldwide and drive their implementation, rollout, and adoption, working closely with the IT group shared services organisation.
He will report to Kapil Mahajan, Global CIO of Allcargo Group, and will be operating from Mumbai headquarters.
Garg has over two decades of leadership experience across multiple sectors including Banking/Insurance, Travel and Hospitality, Manufacturing, Energy Resources, and Retail/CPG.
Recently, he was with Capgemini as VP of Information Technology and played a key role in overseeing regional delivery and growth for consumer products and retail accounts in the Nordic region.
A postgraduate in Computer Science from Moscow State University, Russia, he also worked with TCS for more than two decades in senior leadership roles.
