New Delhi: South Korean consumer electronics brand LG Electronics has appointed Hong Ju Jeon as the new Managing Director (MD) for its Indian subsidiary LG Electronics India. Jeon replaces LG India MD, Young Lak Kim, who has been elevated to a different role and position, according to the company statement.
Prior to his appointment as MD of LG Electronics India, Jeon was in charge of the Gulf region as subsidiary President. Additionally, he also held other senior positions at LG Electronics as MD of Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria subsidiaries. Under his leadership, LG has strengthened its product leadership and launched many sustainable initiatives.
The previous MD of LG India, Young Lak Kim has been promoted to the position of Executive Vice President and will be joining as Korea Sales and Marketing Head.
Kim’s commitment to driving market leadership, sales and brand growth in India has been significant and LG’s market dominance has strengthened across various product categories during his tenure.
