Mumbai: Anil Valluri, a tech veteran has joined Palo Alto Networks to lead the company’s operations in the Indian subcontinent. Palo Alto Networks today announced the appointment of Anil Valluri as Regional VP for India and the SAARC region.
Bangalore based Valluri’s appointment comes with immediate effect. This position was vacant since Anil Bhasin had quit his role to join UiPath in February this year.

Prior to this role, Valluri was with Google in India. He led Google Cloud business in India and helped enterprises with cloud transformation.
He also worked for eight years at NetApp as President for India and SAARC region. At NetApp, he played an instrumental role in driving the company’s business growth.
In past, Valluri has held leadership positions in global technology companies. He brings with him extensive experience across diverse portfolios from sales to services business to consulting and product management.
In his role, Valluri will focus on driving profitable growth and accelerating Palo Alto Networks’ technology footprint across customer segments. Besides, creating key go-to-market alliances, scaling the partner ecosystems and building talent within the company in the region.
