Fortinet acquires SOAR provider CyberSponse

Bangalore: Cybersecurity player Fortinet today said that it has completed CyberSponse‘s acquisition. However, the company hasn’t shared financial details of this deal.

CyberSponse, an Arlington, Virginia based Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR) platform provider is also a Fortinet Security partner.

Through CyberSponse’s acquisition, Fortinet will further extend the automation and incident response capabilities of FortiAnalyzer, FortiSIEM and FortiGate. One of the key areas this buyout addresses is to further simplify security operations and reduce complexity.

“With the integration of CyberSponse’s powerful SOAR platform into the Fortinet Security Fabric, we will offer customers accelerated incident response and the ability to standardize and scale processes that will enhance security posture and reduce business risk and associated costs,” said Ken Xie, Founder and CEO – Fortinet.
