Posted by Sawantwadi: Streamcast Group, a private IP cloud operator has announced its plans to launch a high compute datecentre in Sawantwadi located in Maharashtra state, through its cloud computing business arm Streamcloud. Spread across 12 acres of land, Streamcloud’s new datacentre will mark the company’s first datacentre in India with an investment of over Rs 2200 crore over the next 4-5 years. Also, it plans to launch SAI Centre of IT Excellence – a learning institute for advanced vocational IT courses for the youth of Sindhudurg and neighbouring areas.
