Bangalore: After working with US based IT recruitment & staffing Collabera Inc., for two years in the role of Group CDO, Anjani Kumar has moved on to join Nissan Motor Corporation as CIO for AMI region.
In the new role as CIO AMI Region, Kumar will work with the regional teams to drive and implement digital transformation in all countries of AMI region (including India, UAE, Kuwait, Egypt, Middle East, Turkey, South Africa and others) aligned to Nissan digital strategy globally.
In addition, Kumar will be responsible to work with all functions to ensure that IS/IT meets the needs of the business and proactively maintains on-going operations across the region. He started working at Nissan since August this year.
In his last assignment with Collabera, Kumar worked as Senior VP & Global CDO, where he had led digital transformation for the company globally. He created digital strategy and executed it including cultural and visible user perception change.
Kumar also added new dimension to work force management and HR domain through cutting edge technology initiatives and innovative startup ecosystem. He took the initiatives which made use of some of the latest technologies AI ( NLP and ML), Automation (RPA including Bots), Cloud, distributed computing, Enterprise Architecture , Native Mobile Apps and UI/UX background for futuristic Digital Enterprise & Next generation Platform.
In addition, Kumar was also performed CIO responsibilities and functions for company’s international business.
