Ozonetel eyes EMEA with an exclusive tie-up with IsTek

Hyderabad: Indian cloud telephony firm Ozonetel has announced an exclusive tie-up with London based distributor IsTek for the EMEA region.

IsTek specializes in contact centre technology and has signed an exclusive master distributor partnership with Ozonetel. It will be responsible for the sales and distribution of Ozonetel cloud based contact centre solution in the EMEA region.

This new tie-up marks Ozonetel’s entry into the geographically vast and diverse markets of EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa).

Leveraging the reach of IsTek, Ozonetel can offer its cloud-based contact centre solutions to EMEA customers. The alliance will help Ozonetel to expand its presence in different markets of EMEA via IsTek’s distributor and reseller networks.

From a technology and IT solutions vendors’ perspective, the EMEA region is one of the key markets globally. IT spending in EMEA is forecast to the tune of $1.075 trillion in 2021. A 2.8% increase from 2020, as per the Gartner estimates released last November.

According to Gartner, the region took a 6.5% dip in IT spending in 2020, but the remote working shift will trigger more IT investments in 2021.

With the COVID-19 pandemic, organisations in this region are expected to increase overall IT spending to fortify their IT infrastructure. Investment in IT and cloud infrastructure would enable organisations to support their remote operations and employees working remotely.

“Before the pandemic, most organisations moved their digital strategies forward at a steady pace. For organisations the way forward in 2021 is to increase the speed of their digital business initiatives and fund them by diverting funds from other areas of IT,” said John-David Lovelock, Distinguished Research VP – Gartner.

These immediate demands and investment in IT infrastructure offer software vendors and IT solutions vendors like Ozonetel sizable opportunities.
