Dell Technologies brings 5G, AI – backed new PCs, displays

Texas, USA: Dell Technologies unveiled new PCs and displays with 5G, AI and premium design for work and play purpose. Latitude 9510, XPS 13 and new displays were introduced at CES 2020.

The new Latitude 9510 series is claimed to the world’s most intelligent 15-inch 5G-ready business PC with built-in AI.

Latitude 9510 is built and design for business users. It is claimed to have longest battery life in the 15-inch business PC; with a target of up to 30 hours, 5G-ready design, powerful audio features and intelligent solutions that increase productivity.

It is the world’s smallest and lightest commercial 15-inch PC, easily fitting into a small work bag. It weighs 3.2 pounds with a large screen size, along with Intel Wi-Fi 6 (Gig+) and 5G mobile broadband capabilities offering more productive.

The speakers are designed with in-built 5G antennas to retain the InfinityEdge display. It uses carbon blade fans and dual heat pipes that offers a quiet and cool-to-the-touch experience.

Latitude 9510 runs on 10th Gen Intel Core i7 processor. It uses vPro ready feature to offer machined-aluminum finish with stylish diamond cut edges . It has a built-in and automated AI-based optimization technology. And leverages new Dell Optimizer software that help reduce lags, delays and frustration.

Besides there are other new features as well. Including the Express Response for fast work and ExpressCharge for usage pattern charging using AI and machine learning. ExpressSign-in for secured senor based faster log-in process using Intel Context Sensing technology and Windows Hello.

“Our research shows an increasing percentage of new employees are choosing jobs based on the devices employers offer, and both IT buyers and consumers are interested in PCs with next-generation display, connectivity and battery technologies,” added Mainelli.

XPS 13: First-ever four sided, virtually borderless InfinityEdge display

Dell’s new XPS 13 design offers the most premium and superior computing experience. It has used finest materials, smaller and slimmer shape with a larger display.

XPS 13 is made with machined aluminum, carbon fiber, woven glass fiber and hardened Corning Gorilla Glass. Overall it offers users a flawless finish in a durable, lightweight design.

Dell has worked hard on the engineering aspect of XPS 13. This has created maximum screen space with narrow bezels on each side. The InfinityEdge borders have been reduce to make it smaller and thinner than previous XPS series.

All the four edges offers a larger 16:10 display ratio. The screen is 25% brighter enabling more screen space to support multitasks. The newly designed XPS has a 13.4-inch display in an 11-inch form factor to even fit an airplane tray.

The XPS 13 runs on 10th Gen Intel Core processors, offering a long battery life for the travelers, small business owners and creatives. The new design offers a larger touchpad, edge-to-edge keyboard, and one-handed opening strike the perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality.

Besides the engineering aspect, Dell has also paid attention on new XPS packaging. It is using more sustainable materials and not foam to make it easy for recycling.

Dell XPS 13 is available in two variants – Windows 10 and the Developer Edition featuring Ubuntu 18.04LTS.

Dell’s top-of-the-line monitors

Dell’s new monitor range includes Dell 86 4K Interactive Touch, UltraSharp 43 4K USB-C and Alienware 25 Gaming monitor.

Users can collaborate effectively with the new Dell 86 4K Interactive Touch Monitor that is digitizing yesterday’s whiteboard.

The UltraSharp 43 4K USB-C Monitor allows users to view content from four connected PCs simultaneously to maximize productivity. It comes with VESA Display HDR 400 that offers a wide color coverage for accurate color reproduction.

Alienware 25 Gaming Monitor offers 99% sRGB color coverage and features fast IPS technology for rich colors. It has a 240Hz refresh rate and a blazingly fast 1 millisecond gray-to-gray response time, all in native FHD resolution. It also features AMD Radeon FreeSync technology and is NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible.

XPS 13 Developer Edition, starting at US $1,199.99, available in the U.S., Canada and select European countries in February17.

Dell Cinema Guide, available to download now on any Windows 10 PC for free via the Microsoft store.

Dell Mobile Connect with iOS data transfer and screen mirroring will be available to download for free from the Microsoft Store and come pre-installed on all Dell consumer systems this spring.
