Posted by Mumbai: Zenlayer appointed former Gartner Digital Product Leader, David Xie as the company’s new CPO (Chief Product Officer).
In the role of CPO, Xie will lead the company’s product management and development (PMD) organisation. This unit consists of product management, research and development, product operations and marketing, and partnerships.
As the CPO, Xie will lead the team to create and iterate solutions for enterprises. And also build a world-class product management organisation at Zenlayer.
He will focus on innovating Zenlayer’s Edge Cloud product and services. These include Cloud Networking, Global Intelligent Accelerator (GIA), Content Delivery Network (CDN), Bare Metal Cloud and Edge Cloud Data Center Services.

Before joining Zenlayer, Xie was Group VP – Digital Products Gartner, where, he held multiple leadership roles. He was responsible for product management, corporate strategy, data science, sales enablement and digital transformation.
Prior to Gartner, Xie worked as Management Consultant at McKinsey. He was also an IT Architect at Openwave and even founded a few startups.
Xie holds an M.B.A. from the Cornell University Johnson Business School. He has a masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland. And also a bachelors degree in Electronics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology.
