Posted by Mumbai: Vivek Viswanathan has joined PayNearby as the new CTO (Chief Technology Officer). PayNearby, a branchless banking and digital payments network in India announced the appointment of Vivek Vishwanathan as the company’s new CTO.
Vivek Viswanathan brings deep technical experience with a background in architecting, designing and building enterprise-grade products and new energy to propel PayNearby into its next growth phase.
As CTO, he will work closely with the company’s product, data and analytics teams to enable seamless delivery of financial services.
With over two decades of experience, Viswanathan has a proven track record of having built platforms at scale and a deep understanding of the fintech industry. Prior to PayNearby, he oversaw Blue Yonder as the VP- Product Development to enable digital supply chain and omnichannel commerce fulfilment.
He also led the engineering division of Setu – a fintech API platform as CTO, building APIs to help integrate financial services into the customers’ products. During his stint at Ezetap, he helmed the company’s expansion as VP-Engineering. He was also the Co-Founder and CEO of Stillwater – a social media startup and is known to have built consistently high performing teams.
