Eagle Eye Networks unveils 2022 expansion plans in India

Bangalore: Eagle Eye Networks, a global cloud video surveillance and AI solutions provider on Thursday announced its 2022 expansion plans in India. The US-based Eagle Eye Networks will focus on India’s tech-driven industries, smart cities, education, and public safety as part of its expansion plans in India this year.

Although the company announced today its 2022 expansion plans in India, it already has made its India presence through the acquisition of Bangalore based AI company Uncanny Vision last year,

Eagle Eye began its expansion in India in September 2021 when it acquired a Bangalore based surveillance artificial intelligence (AI) company Uncanny Vision for an undisclosed sum. All the 60 employees of Uncanny Vision including the Co-Founders, Ranjith Parakkal and Navaneethan Sundaramoorthy have joined the Eagle Eye leadership team.

Uncanny Vision’s surveillance AI technology is used for various applications such as smart parking, retail analytics, gate security, toll automation, smart cities, ATM monitoring, worker safety and perimeter security.

Following this acquisition, Eagle Eye Networks has doubled the size of its sales staff with the aim of building a sales organisation with exceptional technical knowledge, vertical experience, and deep expertise in the local market.

Besides the sales, the company is also expanding its India engineering team as part of its broader goal to increase innovation, development velocity, and the breadth of applications supported. The team will focus on product development, research and design as well as data science and machine learning.
