Posted by Mumbai: Tech-focused VC fund, Inflexor Ventures invests in autonomous 5G mobile core software startup A5G Networks (A5G). However, the VC firm has not disclosed the details of the invested funds in the software startup A5G.
A5G builds cloud-native 4G, 5G and Wi-Fi converged core software. This investment is an extension of the seed funding raised by A5G in June 2022 from the Bharat Innovation Fund.
The software startup will utilise the funds to augment its team, enhance the technological architecture and expand its business across international markets such as North America, Latin America and APAC.
Founders of Parallel Wireless
A team of serial entrepreneurs namely Rajesh Mishra, Kaitki Agarwal, Kartik Raval, and Ravi Nathwani founded A5G Networks. This is the same team of entrepreneurs that pioneered the OpenRAN revolution as the founders of Parallel Wireless. The founders hold more than 170 patents between them.
The team has developed an autonomous and distributed 5G packet core infrastructure. It’s a microservices-based, ultra-lightweight, plug-and-play type infrastructure that allows multi-cloud deployment.
5G services in India
The recent launch of 5G services in India, will also provide tailwinds to the startup’s operations.
