Locus appoints three senior executives

Bengaluru: The global logistics SaaS platform Locus has appointed three senior executives to its core management.

The company announced the appointments of Sanjay Bhambri as COO, Malay Shah as SVP and P&L Head for Emerging markets, and Shashwat Ghosh as VP – Global Performance Marketing, respectively.

The three new senior executives bring a combined work experience of over 60 years in the areas of managing operations, global go-to-market strategies and expanding and scaling large businesses.

Sanjay Bhambri as COO and will lead operational excellence across technical and business functions. He comes with over two decades of experience operating in multicultural environments and managing sales, P&L, global customer engagement, pan continent operations, building teams with strong customer focus and ensuring growth.

Prior, Bhambri was OnMobile Global’s COO and over the years he has operated in a spectrum of industries such as IT, Satellite Services, Travel, Telecom, Value Added Services, and Energy Utilities.

Malay Shah has joined Locus as SVP – Emerging Markets. As SVP, Shah will manage P&L for India, MEA and APJ regions. Prior, Shah led revenue roles at Automation Anywhere and LeadSquared.

At Automation Anywhere he was responsible for the global IT/BPM segment and Channel for India, the Middle East and Africa and was a Chief Growth Officer at LeadSquared helping scale the business in a short period of time. He put in place board governance processes and drove strategic fundraising for the firm.

Shashwat Ghosh as VP – Global Performance Marketing for Locus, will build the best in class, data-driven ABM programs, expand the portfolio of the digital marketing tech stack, drive inbound acquisition, and strategically scale the performance marketing engine and engage with industry analysts.

Locus has been on a global expansion spree adding to teams and markets as well as focusing on strengthening its IP with over 15 filed patents. The company currently has a 300 strong team and last year announced a $4 million ESOP buyback on the heels of its Series C fundraising from investors including GIC, Qualcomm Ventures, Tiger Global and Falcon Edge.
