Posted by Bangalore: Hitachi Terminal Solutions opens its global CRM (cash recycling machines) manufacturing facility in Bangalore. The move will complement the Indian government’s Make in India mission and help transform the country into a manufacturing hub for the world, according to the company statement.
This CRM manufacturing facility located in Bangalore will be one of the largest facilities for Hitachi worldwide and is in the direction to build and strengthen a full-fledged Hitachi campus in India.
This state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is spread over a 1,08,000 sq feet area and it will enable the company to triple its current production capacity of 1,000 CRMs per month. The company also plans to employ more than 400 people in the future.
The core engine of the CRMs (Cash Modules) is localised and will now be entirely assembled in India with a high level of automation in this new facility. Hitachi is the global leader in cash recycling and automation technology.
“Our estimate indicates that more than 1.1 million cash recycling machines have the capacity to be installed globally by 2024. Owning to this, we have built a state-of-the art facility, with an aim to offer highly secure, lowest carbon footprint and technologically advanced CRMs to our customers,” said Yoshihiro Nakatani, MD of Hitachi Terminal Solutions India Private Limited.
“Hitachi Terminal Solutions India will continue its efforts for expanding its business ecosystem and developing solutions in India, to further augment the export of our products from India and thus contribute to the development of the Indian economy,” added Naktani.
