G7 CR Technologies aims $30 million outlay to support startups

Bangalore: After investing over $1 million in various startups in the last quarter, G7 CR Technologies aims to invest up to $30 million in FY22.

The managed cloud service provider G7CR Technologies said it has invested over $1 million in various startups via technology services in the last quarter. And further, it aims to invest up to $30 million to support startups in FY22.

In the last quarter, G7CR Technologies said it made tech investments in over 100 startups in India, the Middle East and Africa (MEA).

These tech investments basically are technology benefits and support it offered to startups like cloud migration, cloud setup and its management and even application modernisation.

Under the Startup 360 initiative, G7CR plans to invest in more than 200 more startups in the next 4-5 months and onboard over 1,000 startups in FY 2022.

“The products and services of these startups where we have invested via technology services have impressed us. By building a cloud technology platform and working closely with these startups we have understood various business challenges they face on a day-to-day basis,” said Dr Christopher Richard, MD and Chief Cloud Architect – G7 CR Technologies.

“With our expertise and market reach we intend to help these startups which even have the potential to become unicorns. We are extremely happy and excited for these startups to join the G7CR family,” added Richard.

The Bangalore based Azure Managed Services Partner said it will also invest in startups with B2B SaaS products and expand their sales operations in newer regions including MEA. These startups will receive benefits in the range of $5000 to $25000.

The tech investment for startups will focus on offering strategic support across key business areas: capital, building competency (technical & leadership), revenue and technology to support startups in their journey.

The company’s initiative has helped startups opt for transformative innovations, utilizing cloud services for a much wider approach including offering strategic support in sales enablement, tech enablement and business enablement.

With a strong presence in India along with the Middle East, UK and South-East Asian countries, G7CR has helped startups in their go-to-market strategy and offered technology funding against cloud consumption.

Sectors like education, health, FMCG, retail, marketing, advertising and many more have accelerated the adoption of such initiatives.
