Manabu Yamazaki leads Canon India as President, CEO

Mumbai: Manabu Yamazaki appointed as the new President and CEO of Canon India, effective April 1, 2021. Yamazaki took the charge from his predecessor Kazutada Kobayashi, who led Cannon India for the past nine years.

In the new role, Manabu Yamazaki will be spearheading Canon’s business strategy and operations in India. Prior, Yamazaki, was working as Cannon’s Chief Regional Officer in Eastern China, overseeing various functions in the APAC region.

Canon India Pvt. Ltd., a 100% subsidiary of Canon Singapore Pte. Ltd., is a major player in imaging technologies and products. In India, Canon has a strong presence with more than 1000 employees. It runs the business operations with the support of local offices and warehouses located in 14 cities across India.

Yamazaki joined Canon in 1989. Since then his professional association with the company has grown in stature. During these years, he has contributed to the company’s business management across European, Middle Eastern, Russian, and African markets.

A seasoned leader, Yamazaki has worn multiple hats throughout his storied career. He will be overseeing the strategic operations of Canon in India with the key task to strengthen the existing core businesses. Also, he will responsible to drive the growth and Cannon’s imaging expertise in new areas in India.
