Zenlayer raises $50 million to boost its Edge Cloud tech

Mumbai: Zenlayer has closed a $50 million Series C funding led by Anatole Investment, Prospect Avenue Capital and existing investor Volcanics Venture. This funding round will allow Zenlayer to boost its edge cloud technology and services, and expand its global network coverage.

With this new Series C $50 million funding round, the company has raised a total of $90 million since its inception. F&G Venture, NSFOCUS, and Forebright Capital have funded $40 million to Zenlayer in the past.

Today, it can help organisations reach over 85% of the world’s internet population in just 25 milliseconds or less. By using Zenlayer’s PaaS solutions, organisations can achieve this without deploying any infrastructure.

From 2017 till 2020, the company has clocked over 40% revenue CAGR. It has 32 patents filed and granted related to SDN routing algorithm, orchestration, and edge traffic management. With over 180 PoPs (point of presence) covering 37 countries across six continents.
