Windows 365 plans and pricing out for customers

Mumbai: After Microsoft announced its Cloud PC service Windows 365 in mid-July this year, the hybrid work focused offering is now generally available globally including India. The company has revealed Windows 365 plans and pricing recently.

According to Microsoft, Windows 365 is the world’s first Cloud PC, which securely streams personalised Windows desktop, apps, settings, and content from the cloud to any device. It provides customers with a virtualized computing experience where users can stream their Windows experience from the Microsoft cloud to any device.

Microsoft said Windows 365 is for organisations of all sizes that need secure and agile hybrid work solutions. With the new Cloud PC service, the company is trying to serve organisations’ elastic workforces, distributed employees, or specialised workloads with varied computing and storage capabilities, accessible on any device.

The company has rolled out Windows 365 plans and pricing in two editions — business and enterprise. The plans start from 1 vCPU up to 8 vCPU with memory availability from 2 GB RAM up to 32 GB RAM and storage from 64 GB up to 256 GB.

For Windows 365 Business plan, the pricing starts at Rs ₹ 1,865.00 user/month for 1 v CPU, 2 GB RAM and 64 GB storage. The company is offering up to 16% discount with Windows 365 Business plan for customers who already are using Windows 10 Pro.

Existing customers with Microsoft 365 licenses availing Windows 365 Enterprise plan are not required for any additional licenses to access Windows 10 Enterprise or Microsoft Endpoint Manager with Windows 365 Enterprise.

In addition, Windows 365 is optimized for Microsoft 365, including Office apps, Outlook, and OneDrive.
