Posted by Bangalore: Schindler and LTTS have joined hands for digital and engineering transformation.
Schindler, a Switzerland-based global provider of urban mobility products has selected L&T Technology Services to provide innovative digital engineering capabilities.
Under a pact, Mumbai based LTTS will provide product development, innovation and engineering services and solutions that will help Schindler to accelerate its digitisation and connectivity initiatives.

Schindler’s urban mobility products include elevators, escalators, moving walks, transit management systems and controls, and digital media services.
“Innovations such as digital twin technology, build to automation, and the advancements in wireless connectivity are accelerating Industry 4.0 adoption,” said Prabhakar Shetty, Global Head – Digital Manufacturing Services, L&T Technology Services.

This is a second deal for LTTS, within a span of less than a week. Mid last week, LTTS announced a $100 million plus deal with a global Oil and Gas major for engineering services.
