IceWarp opens new office, aims to double its staff in 2023

Mumbai: Email and collaboration software company IceWarp opened a new office in Mumbai on Friday. With its second office in India, IceWarp wants to further expand its presence in the Indian market and aims to double staff in 2023.

Positioned itself as the alternative to Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace in the market, IceWarp plans to double its staff next year. The software company with a 100-member team in India said it aims to double staff numbers by end of 2023.

The new bigger size office will allow IceWarp to accommodate new resources across departments and address its growing business requirements. The new office located at The Summit Business Bay, Andheri East becomes IceWarp’s second workplace in India.

The company initiated its expansion plan a few months ago, following the increased traction in sales and operations, along with a rise in marketing, CRM, IT, and other complimentary functions to support the rapid development.

“It is a tremendously thrilling moment for us at IceWarp as we take another step towards realising our goals of expanding the company’s footprint in India,” said Pramod Sharda, CEO of IceWarp India and Middle East.

“We are also grateful to all our local customers and partners, who have contributed towards this growth and continue to support us in our ambitious endeavors,” add Sharda.

The new office will enable IceWarp’ to expand its foothold in India as well as help to strengthen its position in the Indian market as the company is bullish about its growth in the Indian sub-continent.

The global team collaboration software market is projected to grow from $7.15 billion in 2021 to $40.79 billion in 2028 at a CAGR of 13.2% during the forecast period of 2021-2028, according to Fortune Business Insights’ report.
